SURASUN BRAND STORY

'SURASUN' is a compound of the words 'Sura' meaning a royal meal for the king and 'Sun' containing the meaning of share, giving out.
Just like a royal meal for the king, we want to present the sincerely-prepared meals made of fresh and nutritious ingredients.
Originated from healthy food cooked for a daughter, SURASUN prepares food everyday by sourcing the delicacies of
all parts of Korea for the health of family and customers. All the customers of SURASUN are precious guests.
We hope that this table experience becomes small but meaningful happiness to our customers.

# STORY1

A child suffering from high fever for several days suddenly felt better in a night, which was so amazing.
The child who usually did not eat much lost her appetite because of the illness.
Fortunately, she liked to eat the marinated abalone that day.
Her parents appreciated the marinated abalone and their daughter who choosed to eat marinated abalone out of many foods.
They wanted to share this joy with other families with picky children.
Bibimbap with Marinated Abalone has been created from this very experience.
Now, SURASUN wants to spread this food made for the daughter, to many others.

# STORY2

A day of SURASUN begins with preparing fresh ingredients.
Everyday, fresh abalones are received/prepared from Wando, and black pork and shrimps from Jeju.
No artificial seasonings are used either. It is the owner chef's strict rule for 'healthy food'.
The absence of artificial seasonings in a restaurant is the confidence in bring good taste from natural ingredients.

# STORY3

"The foods of SURASUN may not be perfect.
SURASUN aims to present savory and delicious dishes with great texture by using the best and
natural ingredients showing the root of savory taste even without using artificial seasonings."

There have been already changes in many people who used SURASUN.
Customers, and even Surasun staffs have say that their tastes exhausted by artificial seasonings were rebuilt in Surasun.
The menus developed in a sense that 'If you can't feed the certain dishes to your family, it should not be sold'.
All the kitchen staffs say that the owner chef never compromise when it comes to foods.
It may sounds so natural. However, it is not easy for every restaurants to do so.

# STORY4

"Out of our menus, there are menus invented for family and I think that it is the most valuable part.
I always appreciate that I could cook delicious dishes for myself and family."
